End Wildlife Crime Conference
THE CHALLENGE
The illegal wildlife trade poses a catastrophic threat to global biodiversity, driving species such as rhinos and elephants toward extinction while funding criminal networks and destabilising communities worldwide. Despite its devastating impacts, public awareness remained low, and international cooperation was fragmented. Recognising the urgency, Defra aimed to lead a global effort to combat this crisis, leveraging the UK’s role as a conservation leader to drive change and inspire action on an unprecedented scale.
THE WORK
I developed media and speaking materials for a landmark Wildlife Trafficking Conference, which featured HRH King Charles III, Princes William and Harry, and the Secretary of State for Environment. The event spotlighted the UK’s commitment and brought global attention to the plight of endangered species.
THE RESULTS
